The TPI type inward water drum filter is one of the pretreatment solid separating devices used for small and medium wastewater treatment plants, and a device which can remove solid suspended matter continuously and effectively. In some wastewater treatment, 30% to 60% of the organic and inorganic solid suspended matters will be removed after filtered, which will reduce the subsequent workload greatly.

The device is widely used in sewage treatment filed like papermaking, tanning, slaughtering, wine and food, chemical fiber, textile and other industries.

Working principle

Gear motor drive the drum screen, sewage flow through the inlet valve into the tank, water accumulated to filtering level. Clean water flow out from bottom of the filter and clean the screen simultaneously. Impurities with larger particle size than the slot were intercepted on the outer surface of the drum screen and move by the rotating drum into discharger, and filtered wastewater discharged by drain outlet.
